Adductor Hallucis
Where are the trigger points?
The Adductor Hallucis runs along the inner bottom of the foot, and attaches the heel bone to the big toe. It is responsible for bending the big toe and helps stabilize the foot when moving.
Common Symptoms
- Pain along the inner part of the arch of the foot
- Pain on the sole of the foot, closer to the inner part
- Feet rolling towards the center of the body
Common Causes
- Muscle strain or sprain. sudden movement or pivoting too abruptly.
- Sudden acceleration when sprinting.
