The Gracilis is one muscle in the group commonly reffered to as the groin. It helps pulls the leg towards the body.

Common Symptoms

  • Pain, tenderness, or swelling over the inner thigh and groin
  • Pain, and sometimes limping, with walking that gets worse with activity
  • Muscle spasm in the groin or inner thigh
  • Pain when moving the hip, mostly when spreading the legs apart or pushing the legs together
  • Knee or hip pain

  • Sudden movements in sports
  • Kicking, sprinting or pivoting
